Before the official opening of Twinning Project, some directions were discussed and outlined
On August 16-18, within the framework of the EU Twinning Program ‘Fostering integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia,’ a working discussion was held with the participation of the responsible employees of the program components of the Corruption Prevention Commission and Twinning experts. Representatives of the USAID "Integrity of Armenia" program and the Council of Europe office in Yerevan also participated in the discussion.
With expert Holger-Michael Arndt, the priorities for which actions should be taken, developing the institutional capacities of the Corruption Prevention Commission, aimed at the development and implementation of anti-corruption (integrity) educational and public awareness programs in Armenia, were outlined.
During the meetings, the project priorities of Component 1 were outlined.
The ceremonial opening of the EU Twinning Program ‘Fostering integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia’ took place on June 13, 2022, and the official start will be given on October 4.
