EU launches a new Twinning Programme on integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia

Since June 6, 2022, the Corruption Prevention Commission has hosted Peter Weiss and Detlef Kreuzer, Coordinators of the 2nd և 4th components of the EU Twinning Program on ‘Fostering integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia’.

The 2nd և 4th components of the Twinning are aimed at the introduction of strategic communication in the prevention of corruption, cooperation mechanisms, and integrity structures in state-owned organizations (corruption risk assessment).

‘Fostering integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia’ EU Twinning Program Coordinators Diana Stepania, Peter Weiss and Detlef Kreuzer had meetings and working discussions with the staff of the Corruption Prevention Commission and the responsible subdivisions of the given components, during which the scope of the assistance to be provided to the Commission by the project was identified and clarified.

As a result of meetings and discussions with the staff of the Commission and other beneficiaries of the program will be finalized the planning of the project of the 2nd and 4th components, and the approved version will be presented to the beneficiary organizations of the project.

The official launch of the ‘Fostering integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia’ EU Twinning Program is scheduled for September 2022.
