Corruption Prevention Commission of Armenia Holds training course titled "Types of Legal Acts and Judicial Methodology"

Тhe Corruption Prevention Commission of Armenia held a two-day training on 14 March with the participation of the staff of the Commission. Titled "Types of Legal Acts and Judicial Methodology" and funded by the EU the training was organized within the framework of the Justice System Strengthening Program.

During the training, international law and domestic law, "soft law" and "hard law" were touched upon. The judicial system of Germany was highlighted and embedment of international law in it.

Academic information presented at the course combined with many practical examples, the participants drew parallels between the judicial systems operating in Armenia and Germany.

The staff of the Commission had the opportunity to raise the legal issues accumulated in the working process and listen to the trainer's comment on them.

The training was conducted by Dr. Evelyn Henning, Professor, Judge of District Court of Frankfurt.
