Working discussion with partners implementing grant programs
On the initiative of the Corruption Prevention Commission, a working discussion was held with the participation of organizations implementing grant programs operating in Armenia. Representatives of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Armenia, international structures and non-governmental organizations operating in our country were invited to the discussion.
The focus of the meeting was the coordination of regular work with donor partners and the presentation of the planning of the work to be carried out next.
The Chairwoman of the Commission, Haykuhi Harutyunyan, presented the works previously carried out in cooperation with donor organizations, referred to the future tasks and priority areas of the Commission. During the discussion, the participants of the meeting presented their proposals, as well as addressed their questions to the Chairwoman of the Commission, Haykuhi Harutyunyan and the RA Deputy Minister of Justice, Yeranuhi Tumanyants.
At the end of the meeting, the formats of cooperation with partners implementing grant programs were clarified and an agreement was reached to give a continuous nature to similar meetings.
The representatives of non-governmental organizations expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Commission in the future and in their turn pointed out certain directions of priority, which specifically related to the implementation of joint educational programs on the topic of corruption prevention, raising public awareness about corruption prevention.
