On September 28, a group of students from Yerevan State University Ijevan Branch were hosted by the Corruption Prevention Commission on a study visit.

Union of Informed Citizens” NGO’s initiative aims to acquaint young people with the processes of preventing corruption in our country as well.

Before getting acquainted with the main functions of the Commission, the students walked around the offices and got acquainted with the working conditions of the structural subdivisions and the process of organizing the work.

The powers and the main directions of activity of the Commission were introduced to students.

Haykuhi Harutyunyan, the Chairwoman of the Cօmmission, answered the students’ questions about corruption prevention activities in Armenia, about the opportunities for employment in the Commission, and the questions related to further strengthening of the cooperation.

An agreement has been reached to make such visits regular and, if possible, to organize corruption prevention measures at YSU Ijevan Branch in cooperation with the Commission.
