A Workshop on “International Corruption Prevention Tools”

 A workshop on “International Corruption Prevention Tools” was organized at the office of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials. The workshop aimed at the transfer of more profound knowledge on the corruption prevention tools as well as exchange of experience in this regard. Dmitro Kotliar, the expert of the International Governance and Risk Institute talked about the best experience of the corruption prevention tools and the application possibilities of the separate tools. Aida Sanneh, expert of International Governance and Risk Institute presented the best practices of United Kingdom, European Union and other countries. Afterwards, a discussion on their practical implementation in Armenia took place. The workshop was attended by the members of the staffs of National Assembly, Ministry of Justice, the Eurasia Partnership Foundation, the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials, as well as representatives of the “Transparency International” anti-corruption center, International Center for Human Development, Public Council adjunct to the RA President, “Media Initiatives Center” NGO and “Iravaban.net”. A seminar on the topic “Capacity building for better coverage of conflict of interest and enforcement of law” was conducted during the workshop for media and NGO representatives, which was participated by the representatives of media, anti-corruption NGOs, investigative journalists and the members of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials.
