The Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials has initiated “Coordination of Ethics Practice and Implementation of Norms” workshop
The Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials, together with the Armenian Office of the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ), organizes a workshop on “Coordination of Ethics Practice and Implementation of Norms”, which will take place on June 3, 2016 in Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan.
The goal of the event is the discussion of international best practice of ethics rules’ promotion and enforcement, as well as the possibilities of their implementation in Armenia. The workshop is also aimed at supporting the capacity building of the structures conducting control and oversight over the adherence to the code of conduct in the selected areas of public service.
Valts Kalniņš, internationally known expert in public service ethics, will deliver presentations and moderate workshop discussions. Topics on international models of ethics rules’ elaboration and enforcements are included in the agenda of the workshop.
