On April 20, a group of students from Vanadzor universities and colleges were hosted by the Corruption Prevention Commission on a study visit.
“Union of Informed Citizens” NGO’s initiative aims to acquaint young people with the processes of preventing corruption in our country as well.
Before getting acquainted with the main functions of the Commission, the students walked around the offices and got acquainted with the working conditions of the structural subdivisions and the process of organizing the work.
Sasun Hambardzumyan, the head of the public education and awareness programs monitoring department of the Commission, introduced the powers and the main directions of activity of the Commission to the students.
Sasun Hambardzumyan and Narine Avetisyan, the chief methodologist of the methodological support department, answered the students’ questions about corruption prevention activities in Armenia and the opportunities for employment in the Commission.
An agreement has been reached to make such visits regular.
