Public discussion with NGO representatives and other stakeholders
The Corruption Prevention Commission of Armenia held a public discussion on the draft “Sources of financial resources and expenses of the parties, as well as the procedure for selecting audit firms for the purpose of auditing annual property reports and defining the requirements for them”.
Alexey Petrosyan from Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center, Vardine Grigoryan and Anton Ivchenko from Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor, Genya Petrosyan from Law Development and Protection Foundation and as individuals Artyom Margaryan, Gurgen Hakobyan participated in the meeting.
Aramayis Pashinyan, a member of the Commission, introduced the draft developed by the Commission, in particular, the procedure for selection of audit organizations for the purpose of mandatory audit of parties, their requirements and other details about the process.
The member of the Commission noted that was planned to organize a separate discussion with the audit organizations.
