The official opening of the workshop called "Priorities of Armenia's Anti-Corruption Policy" on the occasion of the International Day of Democracy was followed by a round-table discussion in which representatives of universities, local and international civil society structures participated.

On the agenda were the educational programs implemented in the last years in the direction of corruption prevention and the upcoming tasks. The participants of the discussion noted that in recent years they have developed and implemented various anti-corruption educational programs, they talked about their features, difficulties and gaps.

The Commission made a survey of higher education institutions operating in Armenia, local and international organizations implementing educational programs, to find out data about the content of the programs implemented in this direction during the last three years, teachers and used literature.

The general emphasis of the results of the survey was presented by the Commission to the participants of the discussion, drawing their attention to the existing problems, which are mainly related to the lack of exemplary forms of educational programs implemented in this direction, due to which the educational processes aimed at preventing corruption are organized in a highly differentiated manner.

During the discussion, an agreement was reached to deepen the cooperation with the interested structures regarding educational programs aimed at the prevention of corruption and issues related to public awareness, and to make similar discussions more intensive, with the aim of making the understanding of corruption prevention among the public more targeted and organized public awareness.
