A seminar discussion entitled "The Process of Anti-Corruption Reforms in Armenia" took place in Tsaghkadzor on September 4-5, with the participation of media representatives.

The Chairwoman of the Corruption Prevention Commission also made a report at the seminar organized by the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO.

Haykuhi Harutyunyan presented some features of the Commission's activity to the media representatives. The speaker noted that the role of media is greatly important to involve wider sections of the public in the process of preventing corruption.

"The Commission relies on the professionalism of journalists in terms of raising public awareness, denying corruption among citizens," said Haykuhi Harutyunyan.

The anti-corruption reforms and details on newly established anti-corruption bodies were presented at the event.

The reports were also made by Karen Andreasyan, the Minister of Justice of the RA, Srbuhi Galyan, Deputy Prosecutor General and others.
