The International Governance and Risk Institute of the U.K. Implements a Project with the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials of Armenia

  The International Governance and Risk Institute of the U.K., in cooperation with the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials, implements a project with the support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Armenia. The project aims at the effective implementation of the actions as foreseen by the legal acts adopted in regard to anti-corruption field on June 9 of 2017, including the capacity building of the Commission, as well as the promotion of the cooperation between the Commission and civil society organizations. For the effective insurance of the project, the team of the International Governance and Risk Institute of the U.K. made a visit to Armenia within the period of September 25-27 of 2017 to hold discussions with the partner organizations and conduct needs assessment of the Commission. The team members had meetings with the representatives of the Commission and the Ministry of Justice, civil society organizations, including Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center, Armenian Association of Lawyers, International Center of Human Development, Small and Medium Enterprises Foundation, Union of Information Technology Enterprises and “Investigative Journalists” non-governmental organization.
