“THE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF MANAGING THE CONFLICT OF INTERESTS IN PUBLIC SECTOR AND NATIONAL CHALLENGES” CONFERENCE
Together with the EU Delegation in Armenia, the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials organized “International Experience of Managing Conflict of Interests and National Challenges” conference on April 30, 2013. The possibilities of involving international consultancy on conflict of interests were raised and discussed with the EU Delegation representatives. Emil Babayan, the chairman of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials of Armenia, opened the conference introducing the problems of conflict of interests in Armenia, legislative regulations and its gaps. Londa Esadze, the main spokesperson of the conference, introduced provisions from the Report on Situational Analysis of Corruption of Armenia as well as international experience on the management of conflict of interests and possibilities of implementing the international best practices in Armenia.
