On April 27, the Acting Chairperson of the Corruption Prevention Commission, Mariam Galstyan, held a meeting with Anthony Banbury, President of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and representatives of the delegation led by him.
Mariam Galstyan expressed gratitude to Mr. Anthony Banbury for the continuous support provided by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) to the Corruption Prevention Commission and for the mutually beneficial cooperation established between the parties.
The parties also referred to the activities carried out within the framework of bilateral cooperation and outlined possible directions for future collaboration.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also addressed legislative regulations related to the transparency and accountability of political party financing. In this context, they exchanged views on ways to overcome sectoral challenges.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue active cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with the aim of developing the Commission’s institutional capacities and toolkit.
