On September 11, Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chair of the Corruption Prevention Commission, presented the report on the Commission\u2019s activities for 2024 during a regular session of the National Assembly.<\/p>\n

The report summarizes the key outcomes of the Commission\u2019s work, statistical data, existing problems and challenges, as well as the outlined future directions for strategic development.<\/p>\n

M. Galstyan emphasized that in 2024 the Commission\u2019s activities covered several areas. In particular, efforts were made to establish and continuously develop the public service integrity system, to ensure the effective organization of the asset declaration process, to conduct analysis of declarations, and to promote transparency and accountability through the implementation of the political parties\u2019 financial oversight function.In addition, throughout 2024 the Commission\u2019s work included preventing the entry and appointment of individuals considered risky from an integrity perspective into the public system through the integrity assessment tool, carrying out preparatory measures for the introduction of a corruption risk assessment institute, and promoting anti-corruption education and public awareness. During the past year, efforts were also made to expand and improve the range of the Commission\u2019s digital tools.<\/p>\n
