Siranush Sahakyan, the chairperson of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials of Armenia participated in \u201cPromoting Ethics in Government\u201d International Visitor Program of the US State Department from April 19 to May 10, 2014. The goal of the program was providing a platform for discussions on developments, achievements and problems of ethics area and experience exchange among the experts of that field. Within the scope of the visit, meetings were held with US ethics system institutions: US Office of Government Ethics, US Senate Committee on Ethics and other organizations. The agenda of the visit included topics on US ethics system, government accountability and transparency, ethics principles and code of conduct and their enforcement, as well as the role of media in the process of ensuring ethics promotion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
