From 2023, persons with the obligation to submit a declaration will submit their declaration to the Corruption Prevention Commission through a new electronic system.<\/span><\/p>\n

The First Channel referred to the declaration system will be implemented and equipped with artificial intelligence and technology, noting that at least 35,000 people annually submit a declaration on property and income.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chairwoman of the Corruption Prevention Commission noted that the implementation of digital technologies will make the prevention of corruption more effective. “The declaration contains up to 5 sections of information of different types and depth, as a result of comparing which, it is clearly seen whether a specific official has spent more than his legal income or property, property change during the year or not. Such work is simply impossible with the current system.”<\/span><\/p>\n

With the introduced system, the person will not have to fill in all the fields when submitting a new declaration, the previously registered data will be able to download a new declaration.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe new digital system will contribute not only to the activities of the Commission but also to other state bodies. We will have an easier-to-use system, as well as more correct and accurate databases, not only with us but also in other state bodies,” noted the member of the Corruption Prevention Commission Lilit Aleksanyan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The declaration registry is being developed by a local digital technology organization, and financial support is provided by the World Bank.<\/span><\/p>\n
