On 26 April 2022, within the framework of the EU-funded project entitled \u201cConsolidation of the Justice System in Armenia\u201d, the Commission hosted Dr. Otilia Pacurari, International Expert on Education and Training.<\/span><\/p>\n

The expert introduced the management of the training cycle and the methods of designing questionnaires to the staff of the Education, Public Awareness\u00a0<\/span>programs, and<\/span>\u00a0Monitoring<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Department<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>as well as to the Chief Methodologist<\/span>\u00a0of the CPC<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Based on the international expert\u2019s recommendation, the staff first conducted a needs analysis, then identified the target groups and developed a draft questionnaire.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms.\u00a0<\/span>Pa<\/span>c<\/span>urari suggested\u00a0<\/span>implementing the C<\/span>orruption\u00a0<\/span>P<\/span>revention\u00a0<\/span>A<\/span>wareness\u00a0<\/span>P<\/span>rogram for\u00a0<\/span>t<\/span>eachers in several stages: compil<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0a questionnaire, select<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0a focus group, and conduct<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0an interview with the management of the educational institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Before launching the\u00a0<\/span>C<\/span>orruption\u00a0<\/span>P<\/span>revention\u00a0<\/span>A<\/span>wareness<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>campaign, it is\u00a0<\/span>important<\/span>\u00a0to f<\/span>igure<\/span>\u00a0out what the\u00a0<\/span>participants\u2019\u00a0<\/span>perception of the topic\u00a0<\/span>is,\u201d was\u00a0<\/span>noted\u00a0<\/span>by\u00a0<\/span>Otilia Pa<\/span>c<\/span>urari.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the help of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>expert, the training participants\u00a0<\/span>developed<\/span>\u00a0a questionnaire consisting of five questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the expert, the most important step\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span>\u00a0the awareness program is the design of the questionnaire,\u00a0<\/span>w<\/span>hich\u00a0<\/span>determines\u00a0<\/span>the expediency of the\u00a0<\/span>following<\/span>\u00a02 steps<\/span>. If the<\/span>\u00a0questionnaires<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will give a better insight to\u00a0<\/span>the Commission\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a0<\/span>the key materials and methods to be used to increase teacher<\/span>s\u2019<\/span>\u00a0awareness during the training, the other two steps\u00a0<\/span>might be skipped.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr.\u00a0<\/span>Otilia Pa<\/span>c<\/span>urari also expressed readiness to cooperate with the Commission\u00a0<\/span>in the future<\/span>, including acting as an expert<\/span>\/trainer for<\/span>\u00a0educators<\/span>\u00a0in Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
