“Warsaw Conference and Practical Exercise on Countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference” Conference

Aramayis Pashinyan, a member of the Corruption Prevention Commission, participated in the “Warsaw Countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) Conference and Wargame” held in the Republic of Poland from March 23 to 25, 2026. The conference was aimed at improving mechanisms for responding to and protecting against FIMI (Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference) threats, as well as facilitating the exchange of experience.

At the conference, Aramayis Pashinyan delivered a speech within the panel discussion titled “Illicit Money Flows as a Tactic for Election Interference,” where he presented the functions of the Corruption Prevention Commission, particularly in the context of monitoring the financial activities of political parties. He also outlined the main challenges identified within the scope of these functions and responded to participants’ questions.

Representatives from various countries’ governmental and public institutions, civil society organizations, as well as experts in strategic communications and security, and investigative journalists, participated in the workshop.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, with the support of the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats (Hybrid CoE).
