Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chair of the Corruption Prevention Commission, is participating as part of the delegation of the Republic of Armenia in the 11th Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is taking place these days (December 15–19, 2025) in Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar.
The purpose of the conference is to strengthen cooperation among states in the fields of corruption prevention, detection, and international legal collaboration.
On December 15, Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chair of the Commission, participated as a speaker in the panel discussion titled “Towards Transparency in Political Financing (Party Funding)” held within the framework of the conference. During the event, Mariam Galstyan addressed current issues related to the oversight of party financing and presented the work carried out by the Commission in this field in recent years, the existing challenges, and other related matters.
