On November 24 of this year, Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, participated in the OSCE/ODIHR conference titled “Developing Standards of Parliamentary Integrity” at the National Assembly, dedicated to the countries of the EU Eastern Partnership region.
Within the framework of the first day of the conference, attention was given to the standards of integrity for political figures, particularly members of parliament, their legal regulation, and the application of codes of conduct as a tool for parliamentary integrity. The event also addressed manifestations of conflicts of interest, as well as the detection, prevention, and effective use of related legal mechanisms in such situations.
