On May 2 of this year, a discussion was organized at the Anti-Corruption Commission regarding the manual titled “Corruption Prevention and Integrity” (hereinafter referred to as the Manual).
The purpose of the meeting was to present the draft of the Manual to active teachers, gather opinions and suggestions to make it more effective, applicable, and improved. The discussion was attended by social studies teachers who had participated in the training sessions conducted by the Commission.
The Manual developed by the Commission includes materials related to the organization of the educational process, aimed at shaping and developing students’ knowledge, skills, and appropriate attitudes regarding the system of public integrity. It also contains materials concerning the teacher’s role in enhancing civic literacy. The teacher’s understanding of these materials is necessary, on one hand, to be informed and effectively manage their own behavior, contribute to fostering a culture of integrity within the school community, and on the other hand, to develop their professional competence for the effective implementation of the teaching process.
The Manual can also serve as a supporting resource for the leaders of student anti-corruption clubs established in schools as envisaged by the Anti-Corruption Strategy.
