Educational / awareness meetings with the participation of students from a number of educational institutions in the Republic of Armenia

The Corruption Prevention Commission continuously conducts educational and awareness meetings aimed at fostering anti-corruption values among the younger generation and raising legal awareness. Meetings have been held with students of Yerevan Secondary School No. 184 named after S. Khanzadyan, “Ijevan Lyceum” SNCO in Tavush Region of the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan Special School No. 14 for Children with Visual Impairments named after Nikoghayos Tigranyan, as well as Abovyan Basic School No. 1 named after Khachatur Abovyan.

Commission member Aramayis Pashinyan, during the meetings, addressed the institutional tools available in the field of corruption prevention, and presented the Commission’s main areas of activity as well as the existing mechanisms. The students were also introduced to the concept of “corruption,” its manifestations, typology, and the main mechanisms for its prevention.

Thematic discussions and educational games were also organized with the participation of students, which provided an opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they had acquired in practice.
