Multicountry Workshop on “Mapping corruption risks: Lessons learned and opportunities of application”

A multicountry workshop on the topic of “Mapping corruption risk: Lessons learned and opportunities of application” was held on April 24–25 in Strasbourg. The workshop was organized within the framework of the Council of Europe’s “Partnership for Good Governance (PGG) III Project: Strengthening Measures to Prevent and Combat Economic Crime in the Eastern Partnership Region” programme.

The goal of the workshop was to promote the exchange of experiences in the field of corruption risk assessment and mitigation, as well as to present the Council of Europe’s approaches to national-level corruption risk assessment methodologies.

Representatives from the Corruption Prevention Commission and the Ministry of Justice have participated in the workshop. The Commission was represented by the Commissioner Lilit Aleksanyan and Chief Specialist Sona Vardanyan. The representatives presented Armenia’s experience in piloting corruption risk assessment methodologies, in particular the approaches of
self-assessment and sectoral assessment.
