Commission member Aramayis Pashinyan delivered a welcoming speech at the discussions, highlighting the importance of the educational component and youth participation in corruption prevention. He also presented the role and main functions of the Commission within Armenia’s anti-corruption institutional framework, which are also reflected in the proposed module.
The purpose of the discussions was to present to the lecturers the draft university module developed by the Commission’s staff, creating a platform for collecting and evaluating their opinions, with the aim of further integrating it into educational programs.
The proposed module aims to foster ethical behavior among students and develop intolerance toward corruption.
The issues raised by the lecturers during the meetings were mapped out with the aim of finalizing the Module and making it more practical and effective. It was also agreed that the lecturers would provide their observations, comments, and suggestions regarding the draft.
