The Corruption Prevention Commission, continuing its series of awareness-raising meetings, held the next discussions on April 8 and 9 with the participation of students from the “Abovyan Multidisciplinary State College” and the “Shirakatsy Lyceum” International Scientific-Educational Complex. Such meetings aim to strengthen a culture of intolerance toward corruption among young people and to shape a value system based on integrity.
Within the framework of the meetings, Commission staff presented the scope of the Commission’s activities, institutional mechanisms, the tools for implementing anti-corruption policy, and the relevant legal regulations.
The participants were also introduced to the concept of “corruption,” its manifestations, and its negative consequences, as well as the procedures for ensuring accountability and transparency. The event also included thematic discussions, during which the students presented their observations and suggestions.
