The activities of the Corruption Prevention Commission were presented at the regular session of the Anti-Corruption Policy Council

The regular session of the Anti-Corruption Policy Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council), held at the Government on April 2, was dedicated to the work carried out by the Corruption Prevention Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Commission) in the field of corruption prevention. The session was chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

The Acting Chair of the Commission, Mariam Galstyan, presented the work carried out in all areas of the Commission’s activities in 2024, the results achieved, and the existing challenges. Specifically, M. Galstyan outlined the outcomes of the implementation of pilot methodologies in the corruption risk assessment and management system, the developments in the integrity system of public officials and public servants, as well as the adoption of the legislative package related to integrity studies and the overall trends associated with it.

M. Galstyan also presented the results and trends of the analysis of asset declarations, the supervision and administration of the declaration submission process, as well as the outcomes of the legal practice established in 2024 regarding the oversight of political parties’ financial activities and the resulting legislative changes. Additionally, the vision for fully digitizing the Commission’s activities and enhancing work efficiency through the implementation of analytical modules was introduced.
