Partnerships for Anticorruption Global Forum 2025

On April 8–9 of this year, Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Corruption Prevention Commission, participated in the “The Partnerships for Anti-Corruption Global Forum 2025” organized by the World Bank Group in Washington, D.C., United States. The event brought together over 400 representatives from governments, academia, the private sector, civil society, and international anti-corruption organizations from various countries.

In her speech, the Acting Chairperson highlighted the progress made by the Republic of Armenia in the field of corruption prevention and discussed the current challenges facing the Commission. During the panel discussion on April 9, Mariam Galstyan presented the ongoing oversight mechanisms related to the financial activities of political parties in Armenia, relevant legislative regulations, the requirements for ensuring gender balance in representation, their practical implementation, the existing challenges, as well as the institution of integrity checks, current status, and evolving trends.

Her speech paid particular attention to the digitalization of the Commission’s functions and outlined the ongoing efforts within the current phase of that process.
Mariam Galstyan emphasized the importance of such platforms for experience-sharing with international partners and expressed hope that similar events would continue in the future.
