A joint conference titled “Work Implemented in the Anti-Corruption Sector in 2025 and Upcoming Tasks” was held by the Corruption Prevention Commission and the Ministry of Justice, dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day.

The conference was attended by members of the Commission, as well as representatives of state institutions, international organizations, civil society, the media, and other partner entities.

The event was opened by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, Srbuhi Galyan, while the summary of the work carried out in 2025 within the framework of combating corruption was presented by the Acting Chair of the Corruption Prevention Commission, Mariam Galstyan, and the Deputy Minister of Justice, Gevorg Kocharyan.

In her remarks, M. Galstyan congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day and presented the work and achievements of the Commission in the field of corruption prevention, emphasizing the importance of behavioral change through anti-corruption education and increased public awareness. In particular, she highlighted the continuous development of anti-corruption education, noting that within this framework, more than 11,500 officials have completed training and received certificates over the past two months through the anti-corruption e-learning platform launched in 2025. At the same time, a number of training programs, capacity-building courses, and study visits were organized. Mariam Galstyan also touched upon the statistical data of integrity checks, the integrity system for public office holders, the work carried out to improve the asset declaration process, the oversight of the current financial activities of political parties, as well as the digitalization of the Commission’s functions. M. Galstyan also presented the findings of the pilot assessments of corruption risks in state-owned enterprises.

In the second part of the workshop, a panel discussion was held on “Current Challenges and Development Prospects of Anti-Corruption Institutional Bodies,” during which Commission member Aramayis Pashinyan presented the main challenges faced by the Commission.

During the event, the competitions titled “Corruption Through My Eyes” and “On the Path of Integrity” were summarized. The “On the Path of Integrity” quiz was organized for public servants, with a total of 1,191 participants from various government departments. The participants who ranked in the top 10 received incentive awards and certificates during the event.
