“Three-day training on the topic ‘Anti-corruption education in the VET (vocational education and training) sector’.”

The Corruption Prevention Commission, in cooperation with the National Center for Vocational Education and Training Development (NCVETD), organized a three-day training titled “Anti-Corruption Education in the VET Sector” from March 25 to 27, which was attended by around 30 instructors from 15 VET institutions.

During the training sessions, the instructors became familiar with the structure, topics, recommended tools, and teaching methods of the “Anti-Corruption Education in the VET Sector” manual. The possibilities for integrating the manual into vocational education programs were also discussed.

Participants were also welcomed by Commission member Aramayis Pashinyan, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Commission’s mandate and main areas of activity. He also emphasized the importance of cooperation with educational institutions, particularly in the context of raising legal awareness among students and fostering values of integrity.

During the training sessions, interactive teaching methods aimed at consolidating knowledge were also used, including group work and discussions. The instructors had the opportunity to address existing issues in the field, discuss legislative gaps, and present their observations.
