On December 8, within the framework of the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan (VLAP) with the European Union, a meeting was held at the Corruption Prevention Commission (hereinafter – the Commission) with the representatives of the EU Evaluation Mission delegation.
At the Commission, the delegation was hosted by Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chair of the Commission, Aramayis Pashinyan, a member of the Commission, as well as representatives of the Commission’s structural subdivisions.
The parties discussed key issues related to the Commission’s mandate, as well as addressed the progress recorded in the field of corruption prevention and the statistical data pertaining to the Commission’s activities.
As a result of the delegation’s visit, the first assessment report of the European Commission on Armenia’s VLAP is expected to be developed, which will be published in the spring of 2026.
At the end of the meeting, the parties once again emphasized their commitment to ensuring the smooth and effective implementation of the visa liberalisation process.
