On April 15, Commission member Lilit Aleksanyan participated as a speaker at the third meeting of the local steering committee in Armenia of the EU/CoE “Partnership for Good Governance” (PGG III) 2023–2027 programme.
L. Aleksanyan emphasized that cooperation with the European Union and the Council of Europe is essential for the institutional development of the Commission. The Commission member highlighted several key components of the programme, including the launch of the “Introduction to Corruption Prevention” HELP online course, large-scale efforts aimed at unifying codes of conduct within the public service system—such as the adoption of the Model Rules of Conduct and their explanatory manual—and the training of ethics coordinators.
L. Aleksanyan also presented upcoming joint activities, including the review and improvement of methodologies for corruption risk assessment, integrity studies, and the analysis of asset declarations, all in the context of the existing legal practice.
