As part of the public awareness campaign titled “Anti-Corruption Awareness Week”, T. Asryan,
Head of the Methodological Support Department of the Corruption Prevention Commission,
participated in the state-private sector workshop on the topic “Business Integrity in Public Policy
and Corporate Practice”.
During the event, several important topics were discussed, including business integrity policies
implemented in the private sector, the adoption of the new Corporate Governance Code and
conceptual issues related to its implementation, as well as the process of introducing internal
whistleblowing systems in the private sector. Special attention was also given to anti-corruption
activities carried out by civil society representatives in the private sector and their impact.
During the panel discussion, T. Asryan highlighted the importance of collaboration between the
public and private sectors, which enables the creation of effective systems in the field of
corruption prevention. He also addressed the steps taken toward introducing a corruption risk
assessment system in state and community-owned enterprises, presenting key observations
based on the results of the pilot assessments.
