Lilit Petrosyan, member of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials of Armenia, participated in the final regional conference within “Good Governance and Fight against Corruption” by the Eastern Partnership-Council of Europe Project on the reforms elaborated during the implementation of the Project and established best practice on Decmeber 15, 2014 in Tbilisi.
Public servants from Eastern Partnership countries’ bodies fighting against corruption and international experts as well as officials of international organizations including representatives from the Ministry of Justice of Armenia and RA Government Staff participated in the event. Initiatives implemented during the Project, their advancement and opportunities for the further corporation were discussed. The four initiatives implemented by the Project in Armenia were presented during the event:
a) Elaboration of “Risk assessment: gaps of asset and income declarations system in Armenia” report,
b) Elaboration of asset and income declaration analysis and verification manual,
c) Elaboration of “Detecting patterns of irregular political party and electoral campaign financing” workshop and organization for the representatives of state and non-governmental organizations,
d) Conducting a workshop on “Asset and income declaration analysis of high-ranking officials” for the non-governmental organization representatives.
The initiatives implemented by the project, the necessary steps to raise impact for corruption prevention as well as the opportunities to implement the necessary events within the project were also discussed during the conference.
