“Open Doors Day” at the Corruption Prevention Commission ahead of the International Anti-Corruption Day

On December 2, 3, and 4, ahead of the International Anti-Corruption Day, the Commission organized an “Open Doors Day” for students of higher education institutions.

Students from the Armenian State University of Economics, the Academy of Public Administration, and the French University in Armenia were hosted at the Commission by Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Commission, and Aramais Pashinyan, a member of the Commission.

M. Galstyan presented to the students the existing institutional tools in the field of anti-corruption, the main directions of the Commission’s activities, and its organizational structures. In particular, she addressed the elements of the integrity system, the mechanisms of the declaration system, the analysis process, and the applicable legislative regulations. At the same time, M. Galstyan emphasized in her speech the importance of youth participation in ensuring accountability and transparency.

During the meetings, Commission member Aramais Pashinyan addressed anti-corruption educational and awareness programs, mechanisms for identifying and preventing corruption risks, as well as initiatives aimed at increasing public awareness.

The meeting and open discussion with the Commission members allowed the students to voice their concerns and engage in frank discussions.
