On December 15, a workshop entitled “The Importance of Corruption Prevention and the Role of the CPC” was held with representatives of civil society organizations and the mass media.
The participants were welcomed by Commission Member Aramais Pashinyan, who presented the main areas of activity and commitments of the Commission. In his remarks, A. Pashinyan emphasized the important role of civil society organizations and the media in the field of corruption prevention, particularly in raising public awareness, strengthening accountability, and fostering an anti-corruption culture.
The workshop was organized based on the results of a prior needs assessment, which made it possible to address the participants’ expectations more effectively.
The participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the corruption risk assessment system, the elements of the integrity system, and the tools for monitoring the financial activities of political parties.
At the same time, discussions were held on the existing challenges in the field, ways to overcome them, and opportunities for effective cooperation.
