Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Corruption Prevention Commission, is taking part in the 103rd Plenary Meeting of the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO)

The 103rd Plenary Meeting of the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) is taking place in Strasbourg, France, from June 8 to 12, 2026. Within the framework of the plenary meeting, the Compliance Report for Armenia regarding GRECO’s Fifth Evaluation Round, titled “Preventing corruption and promoting integrity in central governments (top executive functions) and law enforcement agencies,” was discussed and adopted on June 11, 2026.

The meeting was attended by Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Corruption Prevention Commission, who presented information on the progress achieved in the respective areas since the adoption of the report.

During the meeting, particular emphasis was placed on the progress achieved as a result of the Commission’s efforts, including the introduction and implementation of integrity assessment tools and a code of conduct for persons entrusted with top executive functions (PTEFs), measures aimed at increasing officials’ awareness in this area, anti-corruption education initiatives, and the application of conflict-of-interest management mechanisms.
