On March 25, Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chair of the Corruption Prevention Commission, hosted Maxime Longangué, Head of the Council of Europe’s Yerevan Office.
During the meeting, the programs implemented within the framework of bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed, as well as the Commission’s priorities and the possibilities for further cooperation within those areas.
Reference was also made to a number of achievements recorded in recent years within the Commission’s areas of activity, particularly in the fields of oversight of political party financing, conducting integrity checks, and exercising functions related to monitoring compliance by public officials with the elements of the integrity system.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual readiness to continue and deepen cooperation aimed at strengthening a transparent and accountable system of governance.
