On January 21, employees of the Corruption Prevention Commission participated in a training course on Freedom of Information and Personal Data Protection. The course was conducted by Gevorg Hayrapetyan, former Head of the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of Armenia.
During the training, the Commission’s employees became familiar with the methods of obtaining and providing information, the grounds for refusing to provide information, the basic principles and rules of personal data processing, as well as the legal framework for personal data protection and the practical aspects of its application.
During the course, common problems in the field and possible solutions were also presented through practical examples.
