Maryam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Corruption Prevention Commission, is currently in Doha, Qatar, participating in the 11th Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption, during which she has held several meetings with foreign partners.
On December 17, Maryam Galstyan held bilateral meetings during which she met with Robert Sumi, Chairperson of the Slovenian Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, and members of his delegation, as well as the delegation led by Viktor Pavlushik, Head of Ukraine’s National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. On the same day, she also held a bilateral meeting with Stine Haheim, State Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
From December 17 to 19, a series of bilateral meetings were also held in Doha, in which Maryam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Commission, participated together with other members of the Armenian delegation. The Armenian delegation held bilateral meetings with Alexandru Macidon, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Moldova, and Alexandr Pinzari, Head of the National Anticorruption Center, with Isabelle Jeguza, Director of the French Anti-Corruption Agency, as well as with representatives of the Singaporean Anti-Corruption Agency.
The conference will continue its work through December 19 of this year, inclusive.
