On November 28, the Corruption Prevention Commission hosted 9th-grade students from Yerevan’s Stepan Zoryan Secondary School No. 56, who, within the framework of the “Corruption and Its Prevention” project work, gained comprehensive knowledge about the tools for preventing corruption.
The students were also welcomed by Commission member Aramais Pashinyan, who presented to them the main directions and priorities of the Commission’s activities, emphasizing in his speech the importance of active involvement of the new generation and raising their awareness in the process of corruption prevention.
During the meeting, the staff of the Department of Educational and Public Awareness Programs and Monitoring organized discussions on the concept of “Corruption” and its negative consequences, also addressing the role of anti-corruption education in strengthening accountability and transparency.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of questions arising from the objectives of the project work.
