Creating an environment with “zero tolerance” for corruption is possible only through the active involvement of broad segments of society. Therefore, the Corruption Prevention Commission organizes awareness meetings for representatives of regional school communities as well, emphasizing their participation and engagement in the process of acquiring knowledge and increasing awareness about corruption prevention.
This time, awareness meetings were organized for teachers of primary and high schools, as well as parents of school-age children, in the Dilijan community of Tavush Province and the Vanadzor community of Lori Province.
A total of 55 parents and educators from 12 educational institutions participated in the discussions.
During the meetings, participants became acquainted with the institutional system for combating corruption and the scope of the Commission’s functions and powers. Discussions were held on various forms of corruption, and group activities were also conducted.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize such meetings more frequently.
