Mariam Galstyan, Acting Chairperson of the Corruption Prevention Commission, participated on September 23, 2025, in the annual “Armenian Forum on Democracy,” which brought together representatives from government bodies, the diplomatic corps, civil society, the media, and the expert community to discuss the challenges facing democracy in Armenia and the progress of reforms aimed at strengthening democratic governance.
During the forum, M. Galstyan took part as a speaker in the panel discussion titled “Party Financing and Hybrid Threats Ahead of the Elections,” during which she presented the tools for financial oversight of political parties, as well as the mechanisms for managing and reporting donations to parties.
In her speech, Mariam Galstyan also addressed the vision for expanding the Commission’s digital tools, the methods for automated analysis of political party financing processes and integration with other data and databases, as well as the tools used to mitigate corruption risks and the possibilities for enhancing their effectiveness.
