Cognitive Visit to the Corruption Prevention Commission – European University

On September 23, the Corruption Prevention Commission hosted third-year Finance students from the European University. The purpose of the meeting was to raise the young generation’s awareness about the dangers of corruption and to discuss their role in preventing this phenomenon.

During the meeting, the importance of education, ethical values, and the development of an anti-corruption culture was emphasized. The manifestations of corruption, their causes and consequences, as well as the tools available to students for reducing and preventing corruption risks were discussed. The students also learned about the Commission’s powers and functions as an independent state body with a mandate to prevent corruption.

The participants actively engaged in the discussions, sharing their views and suggestions. The meeting turned into a constructive dialogue, demonstrating that our students are eager and determined to be the builders of an honest and transparent society.
