The Commission has hosted representatives of the OECD/SIGMA program

On April 9, the Head of the Commission’s Department for Monitoring the Conduct of Public Servants, Tigranuhi Khalafyan, held a working discussion with representatives of the OECD/SIGMA assessment team evaluating progress in the area of public administration principles in Armenia. As part of the assessment of progress in the areas of organization, accountability, and control, the Commission’s representative responded to the evaluators’ questions and presented the legal regulations related to the field of public integrity, particularly regarding conflict of interest and the declaration process, as well as the work being carried out by the Commission in this direction. The discussion also addressed issues related to mechanisms for maintaining statistics in the field of corruption prevention and matters concerning reports submitted by whistleblowers.
