“Development and Enhancement of Skills and Competencies in Budget Proposal Preparation.” Two-day workshop.

On February 19 and 20, the employees of the Corruption Prevention Commission participated in the two-day workshop on “Development and Enhancement of Skills and Competencies in Budget Proposal Preparation for Non-Financial Department Employees.”

The purpose of the workshop was to expand general knowledge on Program-Based Budgeting within justice sector institutions, aiming to improve the quality of information, strategies, program proposals, and analyses provided by core departments to financial units for the preparation of MTEF/budget proposals. This, in turn, contributes to enhancing the overall quality of MTEF/budget proposals.

During the training, discussions were organized, providing participants with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the logic, objectives, and key principles of Program-Based Budgeting.

The workshop was conducted within the framework of the “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Armenia – Phase II” program, funded by the European Union.
