ON COOPERATION OF THE COMMISSION WITH THE MEDIA
The Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials considers one of the important prerequisites for the proper implementation of its functions the active cooperation with media and civil society. Media publications on the Commission activity, review and analysis of the submitted declarations greatly contribute to implementation of our mission for transparent and good governance, integrity of public officials, reduction of conflict of interest and corruption prevention.
On July 3-4, 2015, the Commission participated in reporters’ training-seminar on legal aspects of fight against corruption in the Republic of Armenia, organized with the financial support of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), during which the objectives and tasks, functions of the Commission, effective legal regulations of ethical rules, conflict of interest, electronic system for declaration of property, incomes and related persons, options for use of the system, legal regulations related to the system, as well as legislative and institutional reforms currently underway were presented.
