THE COMMISSION ON ETHICS OF HIGH-RANKING OFFICIALS PARTICIPATED IN THE DISCUSSIONS WITH THE DELEGATION OF OECD ANTI-CORRUPTION NETWORK FOR EASTERN EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA

The Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials, among other state institutions of Armenia, participated in the discussions on the third round of monitoring of the anti-corruption action plan for Armenia organized by the OECD Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Yerevan from July 21-24, 2014.
OECD Anti-Corruption Network Delegation was represented by Olga Savran, the head of the Anti-Corruption Network and Tanya Khavanska, the head of the project of the Anti-Corruption Network as well as recognized anti-corruption experts.
At the meeting, the Ethics Commission presented the projects and activities implemented towards prevention of corruption and ethics system development in Armenia as well as their outcomes. Particularly, the Ethics Commission reflected on legislative regulations of ethics system, steps towards the implementation and improvement of asset and income declaration system (including electronic declaration system enforcement), elaboration of seminars on declarations and training courses on ethics, activities for the development of cooperation between civil society organizations and media in order to increase the awareness on ethics issues. The Ethics Commission also presented extensive international cooperation programs and initiatives of ethics infrastructure development.
